BDO advises Printal GmbH on the sale of Drescher Group

Printal GmbH has sold its shares in the Drescher Group which comprises its activities with a focus on digital print solutions. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
A multidisciplinary team from BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH under the leadership of BDO M&A has advised Printal GmbH (Leonberg, Germany) on the sale of 100% of Drescher Full-Service Versand GmbH (Leonberg, Germany), O.T. Drescher AG (Basel, Switzerland) and Drescher Euro-Label Sp. z.o.o. (Gorzów, Poland). The transaction was closed on 30 November 2018.
The BDO services provided included the structuring and advising on the entire M&A process, legal and tax advisory as well as the real estate advisory by experienced BDO teams primarily based in Düsseldorf.
In addition, the auditor of the seller, the GHJ GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Kehl, provided technical accounting support.
The Drescher Group whose principal operations are based in Offenburg and Leonberg in Germany specialises on digital print solutions with an extensive service portfolio in personalized transaction printing (output management), dialogue marketing as well as print management and labels for B2B customers. Together with its clients the Drescher Group develops innovative, efficient and creative fulfillment solutions to improve the corporate communication of its customers. With approximately 160 employees the Drescher Group generated revenues of approx. 33 million Euros.
